POST 1: Business Development Executive

Primary Role

  • Develop new, direct and reselling business channels through new corporate accounts and partnerships/collaboration with potential business partners that will meet our business goals.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Identify key corporate accounts (by industry) and market our product and services for corporate events, product launches, corporate client gifts.
  2. Identify and establish partnerships with PR, Events, Marketing firms and party organizers.
  3. Collaborate with media (print, radio and TV) for events.
  4. Co-ordination of events, internal and external, with clients and partners; and working with internal teams for successful support of events.
  5. Deliver our product and service in manner aligned with corporate mission and values.

Requirements

POST 2: Retail Sales & Client Service Representatives

(2 vacancies)

Primary Role

Servicing client enquiries by understanding clients’ needs and providing solution/recommendations for parties and events through phone, emails and retail face-to-face, in order to meet business goals.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Handling client enquiries through emails, phone-ins and retail visits. Thoroughly understanding clients’ needs and expectations and providing feasible solutions with our product and service provisions. Ultimately optimizing the conversion of enquiries to sales orders.
  2. Building rapport with clients with ease and confidence in our brand, product and service quality and reliability.
  3. Proactively promote our products and services to clients through up-selling and cross-selling that will better meet clients’ needs and our business goals.
  4. Retaining client for repeat business through effective client-relationship management.
  5. Be on the forefront of understanding ever-changing market needs and feedback to management to enhance our competitiveness
  6. Operate and maintain retail shop operation which includes, cashier management, shop presentation, stock management

POST 3: Junior Baker

Primary Role

Assist the Senior Baker and Head Pastry Chef in and organizing the production of baked goods, sweets and savoury items, and facilitate efficient and effective production flow according to orders deadlines.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Prepare ingredients for use by Senior Bakers and Pastry Chef
  2. Train in the preparation baked good in strict accordance to recipes
  3. Maintain bakery equipment and cleanliness
  4. Manage ingredients stock
  5. Manage stocks of finished products on a FIFO basis
  6. Preparation of decorative items using chocolate, fondant, marzipan etc
  7. Assist in other areas of production when necessary

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial bakery, kitchen or cafe
  2. Minimum Form 5.
  3. Ability to understand English recipes.
  4. Ability to follow recipes and execute instructions from supervisor to the exact of quality requirements.
  5. Perform duties in accordance to hygienic regulations.
  6. High demand for quality and passion for food, both enjoyment and creation.
  7. Ability to perform repeated duties in order to excel in baking skills.
  8. Quick learner and have a flair for creative baking – visual, taste, texture etc.

POST 4: Senior Baker / Pastry Chef

Primary Role

Assist the Head Pastry Chef and work with the production team, in the production of desserts including cakes and cupcakes to fulfill orders.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Baking and making of desserts according to approved recipes.
  2. Fulfill orders in an efficient and effective manner.
  3. Training and leading junior bakers and kitchen assistant.
  4. Participate or lead in the development of new product recipes.
  5. Source and evaluate ingredients for bakery use.
  6. Maintain bakery equipment and bakery hygiene standard.
  7. Set up/ review effective production processes.
  8. Manage ingredients stock, including ordering, receiving and maintain quality of all ingredients.
  9. Manage stocks of finished products on a FIFO basis

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial bakery, with hands-on mass-production of baked goods and pastries.
  2. Minimum Form 7.
  3. Ability to understand and follow English recipes.
  4. Passion for dessert and excellence.
  5. Perform duties in accordance to hygienic regulations.
  6. High demand for high quality consistency.
  7. Have a flair for creative baking – visual, taste, texture etc. and have comprehensive understanding of chemistry behind great baking.
  8. Worked with various cake decorating ingredients such as fondant, gum paste, marzipan, royal icing etc
  9. Skillful with different piping techniques using different ingredients.

POST 5: Cake Decorator

Primary Role

Design, create and/or execute the production of specialty cakes and cupcakes, advising on the feasibilities of client requests.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Advise and consult on cake designs based on client requests.
  2. Work with the sales and baking team to design and create specialty art design edible cakes for birthdays, weddings, corporate events etc.
  3. Deliver intricate design and over-the-top work of art with exquisite attention to details.
  4. Onsite set-up of cakes as required
  5. Train and develop skills for enhanced deliverance of cake decorating techniques.
  6. Be on the forefront of cake decorating skills and techniques.

Requirements

  1. Relevant training in cake decorating.
  2. 3 years of relevant work experience in the creation of specialty design cakes and cupcakes, wedding cakes.
  3. Able to work with various cake decorating ingredients such as fondant, gum paste, marzipan, royal icing, piping, air-brushing, painting, sugar art and chocolate art.
  4. Ability to hand-sculpt 3D figurines, animals, facials etc.
  5. Experience with tiered-cakes (stacked).
  6. Excellent artistic flair for edible cake art that delivers the WOW effect.
  7. Have the ambition to deliver beyond expectations.
  8. Passionate about the craft of art design.

POST 6: Assistant Cook

Primary Role

Prepare and cook or bake all catering recipes to standard, including estimating and procuring of ingredients. Work with management to develop new recipes for menu expansion.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for food catering section.
  2. Handle all food ingredient estimation for orders and timely procurement of ingredients.
  3. Prepare food in accordance to set recipes for existing menu.
  4. Develop and/or participate in new food recipes.
  5. Managing the quality of all food at point of preparation and pre-delivery.
  6. Managing stock of food ingredients.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in kitchen food preparation or catering experience.
  2. Ability to organize and prepare for the mass production of food catering in an efficient manner.
  3. Ability to work under tight work pressure to meet clients’ deadlines.
  4. Ability to work well in a team to meet work goals.
  5. Manage stock and procure ingredients from suppliers, including sourcing new ingredients.
  6. Ability to maintain food preparation for cooked and raw ingredients.
  7. Maintain kitchen equipment and work area hygiene and cleanliness

POST 7: Kitchen Assistant

Primary Role

Support and facilitate efficient operation of the bakery and kitchen through general kitchen duties including cleaning, maintain, organizing stock (packing and repacking ingredients), preparing and packing finished goods for delivery.

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Reporting to the Head Pastry Chef for daily routine duties.
  2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the premise.
  3. Receiving stock and shelving delivery goods.
  4. Packing and distribution of goods for retails shops and client orders.
  5. Mass packaging of products with speed yet delicate care.
  6. May be required to perform delivery and miscellaneous duties.
  7. Assist in food preparation or ingredient preparation.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in café or commercial kitchen.
  2. Hardworking and organized.
  3. Ability to perform in fast-pace kitchen/bakery environment with precision.
  4. Ability to follow instructions and perform duties in accordance to hygiene standards.
